Negonation creates “SEC”, a committee of experts in IT law, arbitration and digital signatures
It is a pleasure to announce the creation of the “Negonation Security Excellence Center” (SEC), an external consultative body made up of prominent professionals whose objective is to advise Negonation in legal and technological matters.
The SEC currently consists of the following people:
- Francesc A. Baygual – Partner at Roca Junyent, Department of Commercial Law. Expert in mergers and acquisitions as well as law applied to information technology, telecommunications and digital signatures.
- Javier Cremades – Founding partner of Cremades & Calvo Sotelo. Judge in the Madrid court of arbitration.
- Bernardo Cremades – Founding partner of B. Cremades y Asociados. Expert in international arbitration and president of the Spanish court of arbitration.

- Manuel Lucena – Expert in cryptography and security, habitual contributor to Kriptopolis and author of the book “Criptografía y Seguridad en Computadores” (“Cryptography and Security in Computers”).
As you can see, there is a clear focus on IT law, arbitration and digital signatures. The participants will ensure that the services offered by Negonation enjoy the maximum guarantees. They are all really into, and dare to dream of, a better form of justice that is faster and more efficient. You can see diverse profiles, even opposing philosophies. It’s deliberate. From diversity interesting conversations and original solutions are born, valid for everyone. All the law firms mentioned will use a pilot of Tractis.
Negonation is commited to create secure and trustworthy electronic commerce, above the legislative islands. We’re aware that the words “secure” and “trustworthy” are difficult to define, more a subjective sensation than a concrete objective. The solution does not rely on using a standard, technology, hardware process or concrete legislation. It is a combination of many things, with no magic formula. A user will feel secure using Tractis or not. They will trust the service or not. We believe that the formation and support of this forum is a step in the right direction.

[...] Tractis: The Spain based startup Tractis, which is supposed to launch next month, is adding some real value in the contract management space that other have missed upon. Tractis users get to create contract templates and contract content and share it with their team members. Tractis also offers a Library feature that helps users share their templates and reuse those of other users. Besides the software side of things, the startup has setup a ?Negonation Security Excellence Center? that includes prominent professionals whose objective is to advise Negonation in legal and technological matters. Not sure where they are going with that. Tags: [...]
